Flight Ecology Research

At Flight Ecology, when we are not providing ecological training and consultancy services, we like to imprive our knowledge of bats and other tyoes of UK wildlife by conductibg our own citizen science research.

We have therefore just added a new page to the website to inform you about the research that we have been involved in. Check out the Research Page to read about our project to investigate whether we can find bats in the higher altitude areas of Lake District National Park, using static bat detectors to monitor bat calls remotely.

We are always working on other projects, such as bat box occupancy, bats roosting in trees, and bat dropping analysis. Unfortunately, there just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to get them all written up!

We will therefore add more as we get them finished.
